It's been some time since we know of the new ban list now, and compared to other bloggers I certainly am late posting about it, but on the other hand: it's called the September list, and it's still the start of that fresh new month and format. I have a lot to say about it.

TCG ruling reversal regarding 'leaving the field' and Xyz Monsters
Konami has officially announced a change in the game rules regarding the definition of 'leaving the field', as it matters more to the gameplay ever since Xyz monsters are around.
The announcement itself only states that it's easier to say 'x' instead of 'y', not clearly explaining that those are now the same, so we'll deem it irrelevant and skip directly ahead to what the rulebook now says:

When a monster on the field is shuffled into the Main Deck, or becomes an Xyz Material, it is no longer a card on the field, however its effects that activate when it “leaves the field” will not activate.
This means that Sangan - it is no secret that this is what it's all about - will no longer activate when detached. Tour Guide from the Underworld is no longer much more special than Deepsea Diva. The TCG no longer has 3 cards to instantly search for any monsters with 1500 or less ATK and gain a beatstick or two in the process at no cost other than a Normal Summon. The TCG has - as far as that happens in Yugioh - been restored.

Why Primal Seed got limited
The new ban list has brought us big changes. The unbanning of Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning was one of the more extreme changes, but the fact that they've been suggesting it made it less shocking.
Another notable change was the limiting of Primal Seed. Today, I'm going into detail about what exactly it was that Konami didn't want us to do with multiple copies of it.

Time for change
If you've been following my blog, you'll know that I'm not much of a consistent poster. This is because my interest in the game changes quite a lot. However, that is not to say that I haven't played Yu-Gi-Oh! at all during the past half year. There are times when I feel like exploring the game more, figuring out combos, creating unique decks, and there are times when I feel like playing the game for the heck of playing it. The latter is what the last six months looked like for me: playing for a few weeks, not playing for a month, etc. Today, this will come to change.

Introducing Hyper Fableds: Part 2
Last time, we talked about a new Tech Genus draw engine that works surprisingly well in the Fabled deck. Today, we'll push it a bit further to see how easily we can draw a whole deck with this engine.

Introducing Hyper Fableds
A New Hope
With the ban of Rescue Cat, Fableds have lost a lot of potential because of the absence of the ease with which they could summon their Synchro monsters. Have they regained that ease? No, but they have gained something else, something very treasurable. They have swapped quick access to Synchros for, well, other Synchros. Of course, every deck has access to more Synchros now, but there are certain ones that do exactly what Fableds would want: making you draw more and more cards.
